Overview
NizSol designed and developed Koya, a mobile app for buying furniture online. Furniture is hard to sell digitally for three specific reasons: shoppers cannot judge scale, cannot trust the colour on screen, and cannot picture the piece in their own room. Koya answers each one with a 360-degree visualizer, calibrated product photography, and room dimensioning, wrapped in an interface that stays out of the way.
Furniture E-Commerce Pain Points
Buying furniture online is notoriously difficult. Unlike standard retail items, furniture requires spatial awareness, accurate color matching, and confidence in design quality. Koya needed to overcome buyer hesitation, reduce decision fatigue, and make cart and price management flexible.
- Buyer Hesitation. Static photos fail to show all angles, proportions, or structural details, causing customers to hesitate before purchasing.
- Visual Clutter & Decision Fatigue. Dense promotional banners, intrusive pop-ups, and complicated navigation cause drop-offs.
- Rigid Cart Management. Standard carts force users to permanently delete items they aren't ready to purchase immediately.
User-Centered Flutter Solution
We built a Flutter mobile app with an interactive 360° product viewer, a minimalist category-driven home feed, and a flexible checkbox-based cart system that keeps saved items accessible throughout the journey.
- 360° Interactive Visualizer. Drag-to-rotate previews that let customers inspect build quality, fabric textures, and back/side profiles before purchasing.
- Minimalist Browsing. Sleek interface prioritizing room aesthetics, crisp product imagery, and quick category filters for stress-free discovery.
- Flexible Cart & Price Control. Selection checkboxes let shoppers keep multiple saved items while choosing exactly which ones to include in the checkout total.

We followed an agile process from UX research through polished Flutter implementation, prioritizing the visualization experience and browsing flow.
UX Research & Journey Mapping
Analyzed furniture e-commerce friction points, mapped discovery-to-checkout journeys, and prototyped the 360° viewer and cart flows in Figma.

Built the smart home feed, product pages with 360° rendering and variant swatches, and the interactive checkbox-based cart with live cost calculation.
